Youth Competitions
Debate
The Manchester Co-operative Credit Union continues to influence our young people in a positive way by creating outlets for them to be creative and challenged.
This was done during the past year with the hosting of our Inter-Secondary Schools Debate Competition which saw over 10 schools participating in the preliminary rounds. After several weeks of competition, the finals were keenly contested by Holmwood Technical High School and the May Day High School. After a heated battle, the smoke cleared, and the dust settled. May Day high emerged the winners of the Mavis Campbell Inter-secondary schools Debating Trophy. We congratulate May Day as we look forward to another great season next year.
