Ms. Michelle Ambersley is the General Manager – Manchester Co-operative Credit Union (1977) Limited (MCCU). Ms. Ambersley is a detailed-oriented individual with a wealth of knowledge in business and financial management and relevant application in both a small business environment as well as a Fortune 500 Corporation.
She currently manages over J$5 billion worth of assets and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies aimed at growing the Credit Union. Michelle has had repeated successes in delivering results in an ever-changing financial market, for enhanced profitability and growth.
Ms. Ambersley has been employed to MCCU (1977) Limited since March 2018 and has been in the Credit Union Movement for over five years. She holds a B.B.A in Accounting and a minor in Marketing with distinction (University of Technology) and counts an MBA in International Business (Mona School of Business) among her educational achievements. Ms Ambersley is also a holder of certificates in Salesforce, Project Management and Financial Management.
Miss Ambersley is the current Assistant Secretary of Jamaican Association of Co-operative Credit Union Managers (JACCUM) and has been on the executive committee of JACCUM for the past three years. She was also the recipient of the World Council of Credit Unions Global Women Leadership Network Scholarship in 2017.
Michelle is a member of the Kiwanis Club of the First City and values her responsibility to the Children of the World. She is an avid supporter of life-enhancing opportunities for young people and values her role as a mentor to youth.
